![]() "It's kind of fun to do the impossible." Walt Disney Episode #17 Entertaining people in the modern age is tough! But Disney does it well! Listen to this podcast to hear about the entertainment offerings at Disneyland! The Royal Theatre in Fantasyland performs several 20 minute shows a day - "Beauty and the Beast" and "Tangled". Check the app or sign outside the theater for daily showtimes. These shows are worth watching! "Tangled" is my favorite, but they're both good! They're done in a melodrama style - with a fantastic live pianist! And a couple of fabulous storytellers - Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones. We've seen both shows multiple times. There are benches int he back for adults and little rugs for kids to sit on up close to the stage. Mickey and the Magical Map In Fantasyland, across from It's a Small World, and the entrance to Toontown. Check the app or the sign by the theater for showtimes. It doesn't perform every day, so check the website for the days it showsl This show is a blockbuster! it's so much fun! We never fail to shed a few tears.... On the podcast Kristin tells a funny story about how she and Chris discovered this show. Disneyland's Daily Performances ![]() Disneyland Band They perform in several places in the park - usually in front of the Castle or The Golden Horseshoe ![]() Bootstrappers New Orleans Square This is a pirate band that wanders around New Orleans Square and performs in different spots in the area. They're a lot fo fun to watch - and stamp your feet with! ![]() Fireworks Fireworks happen every night that weather permits. They are a special gift - a "goodnight kiss" - from Walt to his guests. You can see the fireworks from several places in the park - the Castle and It's a Small World have projections that go along with the fireworks show. On the Rivers of America there are water projections - similar to World of Color at California Adventure. Riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (pictured) during the fireworks is awesome! And watching from Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is AMAZING! Parades There are several different parades per year. And they alternate which park. Here are a few parades we've seen over the years. These are not even all of the entertainment offerings available.
You cannot beat the Disneyland Resort for this! The parades, shows and fireworks are a lot of fun! And a great addition to a fun day at the parks!
